Cleanvoice's free 30 minutes: a fair sample, not a subscription
Orange chip, on purpose: Cleanvoice’s freebie is a one-time 30-minute sample, and pretending otherwise is how “free” gets a bad name. Spent deliberately, it’s still one of the better free tests in audio cleanup.

Careful: sample, not a tier — 30 minutes, onceThe shape, verified July 30, 2026: 30 free minutes, no credit card — then it's paid, either pay-as-you-go: $11 / 5 h ($2.20/h), $20 / 10 h ($2.00/h), $45 / 30 h ($1.50/h); credits valid 2 years, or subscriptions: $11/mo for 10 h, $30/mo for 30 h, $90/mo for 100 h (and unused subscription credits roll over up to 3× the plan limit). What the money buys is housekeeping breadth: one automated pass handles background noise and filler words, mouth sounds and dead air — the tedious hour of manual editing, automated.

How to spend 30 unrepeatable minutes
- Upload your worst 12 minutes — the fan, the um-heavy guest, the kitchen echo. Best-case tests tell you nothing.
- Check the trims, not just the noise. Automated filler removal has taste; listen for over-tightened rhythm on conversational audio.
- Keep ~15 minutes in reserve for a second pass after adjusting settings — a one-shot sample deserves an A/B.
- Do the math before buying: a weekly one-hour show is ~4–5 hours a month — the $11/10 h subscription shape — while an occasional cleanup is pay-as-you-go territory.
Where the paywall landsMinute 31, permanently — there is no daily reset. After the sample, every minute is a priced minute.
Cap hit? Swap trickSample spent but budget still $0? Adobe Enhance's renewing free hour covers the noise half of the job daily — you lose the filler-word trims, keep the cleanup.
Fair questions
- Does Cleanvoice have a permanent free plan?
- No — and we'd rather say it plainly: the free 30 minutes is a one-time sample (no card required) to let you judge the results before buying hours. It's a good sample; it is not a tier you can live on.
- What does Cleanvoice do that Adobe Enhance doesn't?
- Housekeeping beyond noise: filler words, mouth sounds, long silences and (on podcasts) dead-air tightening, in one automated pass — plus per-hour pricing with no subscription required.
- What should I upload as my free test?
- Your worst real segment, not your best: the episode with the fan, the guest who says “um” — 10–15 minutes of it, keeping the rest of the sample for a second opinion after settings changes.
